Iowa Lakeside Laboratory is a state-owned biological field station on the shores of West Okoboji Lake. For over a century, it has served as a center for scientific research, education, and public outreach, offering summer courses, nature programs, and community events. The Friends of Lakeside Lab organization works to engage the public, increase enrollment through extensive programming for all ages, and improve the infrastructure of the campus.
